Verlys frosted and clear art glass vase, “Les Cabochons”, also referred to as Raspberries, designed circa 1937.

The French company Verlys established an American production location in Newark, Ohio in 1935.  Many of the same patterns were made in both France and the USA but they are signed differently.  The pieces produced in France have a moulded signature, Verlys France or Verlys Made in France.  This vase has an etched signature indicating that it is from the American factory.

6 1/2” (16.5cm) high, 6 3/4” (17.2cm) diameter at the rim.
