Vintage Val St. Lambert Torsade Vase

Vintage Val St. Lambert “Torsade” (Twist) vase, made in Belgium, circa 1960.  The vase is hand-blown crystal in a deep French plum colour.  Attributed to Rene Delvenne, who designed a similar line of sommerso vases for Val St. Lambert in coloured to clear crystal circa 1957 that were exhibited in the World Fair in Brussels in 1958.  Etched signature on the bottom:  Val St. Lambert.

6 1/2” (16.5cm) high, 7 1/8” (18cm) diameter at the rim.
