Art Deco Dubois for Mons Belgium Pottery Vase

Art Deco Belgian pottery vase, attributed to Dubois for Mons Pottery, circa 1925.  The hand painted vase is an octagonal baluster in form, with alternating panels of stylized leaves in copper and white lilies hanging from blue panels outlined in black, over a sponged, travertine coloured base.  

The vase is stamped on the bottom “MADE IN BELGIUM” and also has an impressed triangle mark.

Antoine Dubois (1869-1949) established Mons Pottery circa 1920, changing the name to Le Ceramique Montoise, circa 1925.

10 1/2” (26.7cm) high, 6” (15.3cm) diameter.
