Hand painted porcelain egg, mounted on an enamelled silver stand.  The egg is decorated in panels of blue, grey-green and cream, outlined with gilding.  

French, circa 1900.

There are minor chips to the edge of the cobalt blue enamel base; wear consistent with age and use.

5 1/4” (13.4cm) high, 2 3/4” (7cm) diameter.
