Minton Gower Crescent Salad Plates circa 1891-1900

Product Details

Antique Minton blue and white earthenware crescent salad plates, “Gower” pattern, circa 1891-1900.  The pattern is a variation of Meissen “Blue Onion”, which was inspired by 17th century Chinese porcelain hand painted depicting bulbs, which the Germans interpreted as onions.

The set is in good condition with minor crazing only, wear consistent with age and use.

9 1/4” (23.5cm) long, 6 3/4” (17.2cm) overall width.
