Product Details

Mintons Aesthetic Movement faience bowl with reticulated rim, signed and dated 1883.  This charming bowl illustrates a swallow, butterfly and flowers in bloom against a vibrant teal blue ground, with peacock feathers on a cream coloured border, painted by hand.  The Mintons date cypher dates the bowl to September of 1883, signed AP.

It is in perfect condition.

Mintons was known for stunningly beautiful art pottery objets, inspired from the natural world.

10 3/8” (26.4) by 7 1/2” (19cm), 1 3/4” (4.5cm) high.
