Raymond Peynet / Rosenthal Porcelain Vase

Mid Century Modern Rosenthal porcelain vase, designed by Raymond Peynet (1908-1999).  Peynet was a draughtsman, illustrator and cartoonist.  He created his iconographic theme “Les Amoureux” (The Lovers) in 1942.  The Lovers inspired a series of images that were incorporated into books, lithographs, figurines and in the 1960s on Rosenthal porcelain.  

The vase is lozenge shaped, with rounded edges.
