Rosenthal Porcelain Ming Dragon Vase

Rosenthal porcelain vase “Ming Dragon” pattern, designed in the 1920’s by Hans Schiffner.  The ginger jar shaped vase features a repeating dragon motif in gilded outline against a rich orange ground.  

The vase is trademarked Decor Rosenthal-Rot (Rosenthal Red), the traditional colour of iron oxide red, which is closer to orange.

The vase shows minor wear to the orange ground; wear consistent with age and use.

13” (33cm) high, 8 1/2” (21.6cm) diameter at the widest.
