Royal Crown Derby Loving Cups *, (shape 1847, pattern # 6299).  Made in England with the Royal Crown Derby date cyphers for 1921 (left) and 1922 (right).  Pattern # 6299 is very similar in design to “Traditional Imari” (pattern # 2451) but with the addition of small green leaves.  It is very unusual to have a matched pair of Loving Cups! 

2 1/2” (6.4cm) high, 2 1/2” (6.4cm) diameter, 4 1/4” (10.8cm).

$1195 for the pair.  

* A Loving Cup is a drinking cup with two or more handles, made for ease of the cup being passed from one person to another.  Traditionally used at weddings, banquets and ceremonial gatherings go to symbolize friendship, unity and love.
