Victorian Era Meissen Grape & Vine Bowl

Product Details

Meissen porcelain grape and vine leaf pattern oval bowl, Germany, circa 1880-1900.  The grape clusters, smaller leaves and vines are raised within the body and gilded to emphasize the three dimensionality of the pattern, against a cobalt blue background.

The porcelain is in good condition; no chips or cracks.  There is minor wear to the gilding, wear consistent with age and use.

13 3/4” (35cm) by 9 5/8” (24.5cm), 2 3/8” (6cm) deep.
