950 Fine Silver Mint Julep Cups

Vintage 950 Fine Silver mint julep cups, mid-20th century.  The cups are identified STERLING 950, indicating that they are Japanese in origin, made for export.  As sterling silver is 925 Fine (92.5% silver) the cups have a finer silver content than sterling silver. The cups do not have monograms or presentation engravings.  They do have very minor dents; wear consistent with age and use.  

5 1/8” (13cm) high, 2 3/4” (7cm) diameter.
