Hand engraved crystal rummers, signed and dated Stephen Rickard 1980.  

Stephen Leslie Rickard (1917-2014) was a well known English artist, starting his career as a sculptor before moving on to glass engraving and wood turning.  A folio of Rickard’s work is in the V&A Archive of Art and Design in London, UK.

The grape and vine motif on the barrel shape rummers are hand engraved, rising from a ball knop pedestal on a flat foot.

6 3/8” (16.2cm) high, 3 1/2” (8.9cm) diameter at the rim.
