Vintage Stuart crystal 10oz tumblers in the “Cathedral” pattern, issued circa 1955-64.

Beautifully hand cut to emulate Gothic cathedral arches, with a graceful flared rim.   Each glass has the etched Stuart signature on the base.

Stuart crystal was established in England in the late 1880s, and known for its high quality hand cut designs on tableware and presentation pieces.  Stuart produced crystal stemware for the dining rooms of the White Star Line, including the Titanic and for The Queen Mary in the 1930s.  The company existed independently until 1995 when it was bought out by the Waterford Wedgwood group and ceased production entirely in 2001.
