American Arts & Crafts sterling silver water pitcher, Lebolt & Co. of Chicago, Illinois.  Lebolt was known for producing Arts & Crafts hand hammered sterling silver holloware, flatware and jewelry, active from 1908 into the 1940s.  The company trademark was a rampant lion holding a shield bearing a “L”, over the words HAND BEATEN.

This handsome water pitcher is architectural in feel, with an applied, stylized monogram on one side, likely “JC”.  Identified as 4 1/2 pint capacity.
