The decanters have French assay marks for 950 Fine Silver, a grade higher than sterling. One of the bottles bears the Minerva head mark for 950 Fine Silver, and three of the bottles bear the Mercury head mark for 950 Fine Silver signifying that they were made for export. They were made in France, early 20th century.
All four bottles bear the company trademark for Charles Forgelot (CF) of 4 avenue de Clichy, Paris. Forgelot was in business between 1901 and 1928.
