Koch & Bergfeld 800 Fine Silver & Crystal Pitcher

Product Details

Art Deco cut crystal pitcher with 800 Fine Silver mounts, made in Germany, circa 1930. Identified on the collar by the company logo for Koch & Bergfeld, established in 1829 in Bremen, Germany.  Also marked 18923, likely a pattern design reference, the crescent and crown mark used by Germany post 1888 and 800, indicating the fineness of silver.

The pitcher can be used with or without the glass tube and cover insert, designed to hold crushed ice.  The clever design enables the drink of choice to remain cold without dilution from melting ice.  It is the perfect solution for lemonade, iced tea, Long Island iced tea, sangria, etc.

The unembellished silver frame is without monograms or presentation engravings.

11 1/4” (28.6cm) high, 7 1/2” (19cm) across the spout to handle.
