Late Victorian claret jug. The collar proudly displays a cherubic version of Bacchus, the God of wine, in a Rococo Revival manner. The body is of a ribbed clear glass with silver plate mounts, circa 1900. There are no visible marks on the silver.
12 1/2” (32cm) high to the top of the finial.
7” (18cm) spout to handle.
