Mid-century modern 800 Fine Silver ewer, made in Italy.  Impressed stamp 800 and 572MI in a lozenge on the bottom.  This is the trademark for De Giovanni Argenteria di De Giovanni Franco of Milan, Italy, active 1957-71.

An ideal size and shape for a bud vase.
