Vintage 800 Fine Silver Water Pitcher From Milan, Italy

Product Details

Vintage 800 Fine Silver water pitcher, made in Milan, Italy.  The richly ornamented Baroque inspired pitcher is decorated with engraved leaf / feather designs and applied trailing floral garlands on alternating lobes, raised on a pedestal foot.

The water pitcher is marked on the bottom:  17MI (17 is the maker, unknown but the mark is registered in business in Milano / Milan circa 1935-49) and 800 in an oval, the grade of silver.

The pitcher does not have monograms or presentation engravings.

11” (28cm) high, 6 1/2” (16.5cm) diameter at the widest.

1181.6 grams.
