Edwardian sterling silver Scottish quaich cup, fully hallmarked for Chester 1908.
The cup is without engraving and would make an excellent presentation piece or trophy.
This oversize quaich was likely a bespoke item, made by silversmiths Stokes & Ireland (William Henry Stokes & Arthur George Ireland) of Great Hampton Street, Birmingham, England.
The quaich has minor dimples, wear consistent with age and use.
6” (15.2cm) diameter, 9” (22.9cm) across the handles, 2 3/4” (7cm) high.
