Hester Bateman Georgian sterling silver wine funnel, hallmarked London 1778.  Hester Bateman was the first female silversmith to have trademarks registered in her own name.

Crested with an eagle and a lion rampant holding a coronet.

Wear consistent with age and use.

4 1/2” (11.5cm) long, 3 3/8” (8.6cm) diameter.
