Magnificent vintage pewter double champagne cooler, made in France.  Designed and signed by M Szekely (Martin Szekely) for Dom Perignon.  

The pewter has a lovely patina; well loved by champagne enthusiasts.

15 1/2” (39.4cm) by 10” (25.4cm), 8 3/8” (21.3cm) high.

* Martin Szekely (born 1956) is a commercial designer that has worked for many luxury brands including Dom Perignon and Hermès.  His creations are exhibited in the permanent collections of many museums, including the Centre George Pompidou and Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, the Cooper Hewitt Museum in New York, MoMA and the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.  Szekely was named the “Designer of the Year” in 1987.
