Substantial sterling silver champagne cooler, in the form of a Neoclassical urn, with gadroon borders and lion mask handles.  Made for Tane Orfebres, a prominent firm of silversmiths and goldsmiths in Mexico City, established in 1942 by Joseph and Rosa Vilner.
