Victorian sterling silver hip flask, English hallmarks for London 1886 and re-presented to honour a trip to Australia in 1926.  The silversmith is William Summers, in business circa 1863-1891.  The oval flask has a hammered finish and is engraved on one side: REH Australia 1926.  It has a domed hinged cover with bayonet fitting and an internal cork seal.  The flask has minor dents, wear consistent with age and use but it is in good and usable condition.
