Edwardian era sterling silver candlesticks, English hallmarks for Birmingham, 1911.  From the prestigious firm of Asprey & Co. Ltd.; jewellers, silversmiths and retailers in London, established in 1781 and still in business today.  Always known for the finest workmanship!  Over its history, Asprey & Co. have held Royal Warrants from Queen Victoria, King Edward VII and the present Prince of Wales.

The candlesticks are designed with gently fluted tapered columns rising from oval bases in a late eighteenth century Georgian style.  The original hallmarked bobeches are intact.

A handsome pair, ideal for the next wedding or anniversary gift!
