James Tufts Figural Letter Wax Sealing Stand

Product Details

Victorian figural silver plate letter wax sealing set and stand, featuring a winged lion.  The candlestick and snuffer are for holding the candle to melt the wax and to snuff out the candle, with the well is for holding the sticks of sealing wax.  

Made by James W. Tufts of Boston, MA, circa 1890.

The silver plating is in excellent condition.

9 1/4” (23.5cm) by 4” (10.2cm), 8” (20.3cm) high.
