Edwardian Stag Handled Boxed Carving Set

Edwardian stag handled three piece carving set in the original presentation box, dated 1908.  The ferrules are sterling silver, hallmarked Sheffield 1908, made by William Yates Ltd. of Rockingham Street, Sheffield, England.  The steel sections are made by Francis Howard, Aberdeen Works, Sheffield.

The three piece set is in the original box, lined with green satin and velvet.  The set is in good condition, wear consistent with age and use.

The carving fork is 11 3/4” (29.8cm) long.

The carving knife is 16” (40.6cm) long.

The box is 18” (45.7cm) by 5 1/2” (14cm), 1 5/8” (4.1cm) high.
