Parian Bust of John Bright Dated 1867

Product Details

Parian bust of John Bright (1811-1889)*, made by Adams & Co., 1867, after the original in marble by Edward William Wyon.

The statue has a minor chip on the collar; wear consistent with age and use.

16 1/2” (42cm) high, 11 1/2” (29.2cm) wide, 7 1/2” (19cm) deep.

$1295 condition noted.

 

* John Bright was a British parliamentarian known for championing many social causes, including the anti-slavery movement in the USA, being supportive of the American Civil War as a necessary means to end the institution of slavery.
