Silvered Bronze Super Egg, by Piet Hein For Skjode Skjern

Modernist silvered bronze Super Egg sculpture on an ebonized wood base, designed by Piet Hein * for Skjode Skjern ** Danmark (Denmark).  The elongated egg is solid and unusually heavy, balanced to stand independently on either end.

The egg has been left in its patinated state but could be polished.
