Ashworth Mason’s Ironstone dinner service, pattern # 266, circa 1862-90.

Victorian era in age and inspired by Chinese ceramics, brightly decorated in blues, green and orange/rust.  The set has minor chips on a few of the pieces, wear consistent with age and use.  Overall the set is in very good condition.

1 soup tureen, cover & stand,

  the stand is 13” diameter, the tureen is 12 3/4” across the handles, 11” total height

1 round covered vegetable bowl (small chip on the base), 10 3/4” diameter, 6 1/2” high

1 cover only 9” diameter

1 small covered well & tree platter 12 1/4” by 10 3/4”, 6” total height

2 platters 20 3/4” by 16 3/4”
