Royal Crown Derby “Rosemary Celadon” fine bone china dinnerware, pattern # A277.  The “Silver” shape teacups & saucers and dinner plates are all brightly painted with central floral sprays, a wide robins egg blue ground border and gilded rims.

Two of the dinner plates are signed Gresley (Cuthbert Gresley, 1876-1963) and eleven are signed by Chivers (Frederick Herbert Chivers, 1881-1965).  All of the pieces in the set have the Royal Crown Derby date cypher for 1939 or 1940.
