Royal Crown Derby trembleuse cup and saucer, “Traditional Imari”, also known by the pattern number 2451.   Royal Crown Derby Roman numeral date cypher identifies this cup and saucer as being from 1974.

The shape is borrowed from mid 18th century Sevres trembleuse cups and saucers, known as  “gobelet et soucoupe enfonce”,  a cup and sunk saucer.

The cup is 3 7/8” (10cm) high, 3 1/2” (8.9cm) diameter at the rim.

The saucer is 6 1/4” (16cm) diameter.
