This playful Jaeger LeCoultre clock is a whimsical take on a traditional desk ornament. Modelled in the fashion of a Parisian street lamp, on Rue de la Paix. Made in Switzerland, circa 1960s.
The eight day manual movement clock has black Roman numerals on a cream coloured dial with blued steel hands. The clock base is a green lacquer finish on a brass base, giving the clock weight and stability.
The movement is recently cleaned and in good working order.
Minor wear to the paint of the street sign, wear consistent with age and use.
11” (28cm) high, 2” (5cm) diameter clock dial, 3” (7.6cm) diameter at the base.
