Royal Vienna porcelain demi-tassé  / coffee cans and saucers, Austria, late 19th century.  The cups feature couples in idealized romantic pastoral settings against a blue ground and heavily gilded.  Identified by the Royal Vienna shield mark, often referred to as the “beehive” mark.  Minor loss to the gilding and one saucer has old hairline cracks, visible only from underneath.

The cups are 2” (5.1cm) high,

The saucers are 3 7/8” (9.8cm) diameter.
