Victorian era sterling silver cream jug, English hallmarks for London 1856.  Made by the silversmith James Aldridge who registered his mark in 1843.

The graceful cream jug is decorated at the middle with repousse work framing a blank cartouche (on both sides) suitable for a monogram or presentation engraving.

6 1/4” (15.9cm) high.
