Adderley & Co. Surrey Pattern Tea Service

Product Details

Adderley & Co. “Surrey” tea service, circa 1892-1905.  Decorated with flower sprays in iron oxide red and bands of cobalt blue and gilding.

The registration # 193771 dates the pattern to 1892.  Made by William A. Adderley & Co. of Longton, Staffordshire, England, with the trademark used circa 1886-1905. Most of the pieces are also identified on the bottom with the hand painted number in red 12010, perhaps a painter’s identifier.

  • 10 saucers
  • 10 tea plates, 7”
  • 1 cake plate
  • 1 cream jug, as found – crack in base
  • 1 waste bowl
