Art Nouveau Design English Sterling Silver 5 Piece Tea Set

Product Details

Edwardian era designed sterling silver tea and coffee set, English hallmarked Sheffield 1921/22.  The set was made by Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd of Don Plate Works Arundel Street, Sheffield and Holborn Viaduct, London.  

The six digit English registration number, 478484 dates the design to 1907, indicating that it was a popular pattern and subsequently, still being made 15 years later.  

The set has an Art Nouveau gracefulness in its simple flowing lines, with stylized laurel wreath swags engraved by hand.

The set is personalized with the monograms of the original owner, “FLM” in Script.

The set consists of a teapot, coffee pot, cream jug and sugar bowl, hallmarked Sheffield 1921 and hot water pot, hallmarked Sheffield 1922.

The teapot is 6 1/8” (15.5cm) high.

The coffee pot is 9 1/4” (23.5cm) high.
