Copeland Spode & Sarreguemines Blue Chintz Dejeuner Set

Victorian Copeland Spode dejeuner set, together with 4 additional coffee cups and saucers made by Sarreguemines, France.  The two complimentary patterns are both blue floral chintz, with gilded rims.

The Copeland Spode set is circa 1883-84 and is back stamped with the trademark used 1875-90.  The set consists of :

1 teapot 4 1/4” (10.8cm) high, 8 1/4” (21cm) across the spout to handle

1 creamer

1 open sugar bowl

1 dejeuner tray 15 1/2” (39.4cm) diameter 

3 demitasse cups 2 1/4” (5.8cm) high (1 A/F)

4 saucers 4 1/4” (10.8cm) diameter (3 A/F)

$1295 for the set, condition noted.

The Sarreguemines set is circa 1880 and is back stamped with the trademarks used 1860-1919.  The 4 cups and saucers are all in good condition.
