Opulent Christofle silver plate tea and coffee service with matching tray, French, circa 1880-90.

This generously proportioned tea service is enveloped in fine guilloche engraving, and elaborately decorated with flowering vine motifs on the spouts, finials and handles.

The set has minor wear to the plating, wear consistent with age and use.

The set is comprised of a teapot, coffee pot, hot water pot & stand, cream jug, covered sugar and matched tray.

The teapot is 6 1/4” (16cm) high.

The coffee pot is 8” (20.3cm) high.

The hot water pot & stand is 15 3/4” (40cm) high with the handle up.

The tray is 18” (45.7cm) by 29” (73.7cm).
