French tea caddy on stand, coromandel veneered with satin wood inlay, made in France, 19th century The top of the caddy is inlaid “The”; tea in French. 

The tea caddy has had a fitted mahogany stand made for it in the 20th century and the inside of the caddy is lined with old French newsprint. 

It is a perfect solution for a small space that needs an end table.

There is minor loss to the inlay on the corners; wear consistent with age and use.

The tea caddy only is 9 1/2” (24.1cm) by 5” (12.7cm), 4 3/4” (12.1cm) high.

The total height is 25 1/4” (64.2cm) high, 13” (33cm) by 8 1/2” (21.6cm) at the base of the flared legs.
