Victorian sterling silver tea caddy, English hallmarks for Sheffield 1896. Made by the prolific silversmith firm of Atkin Brothers, of Truro Works, Matilda Street, Sheffield England, in business from 1853 until being absorbed into C.J. Vander Ltd. in 1958.  The tea caddy is fully hallmarked on both the lid and base.  The tea caddy is decorated in repousse work with a floral scroll band and swags of garlands.  The caddy does not have any presentation engravings or monograms and is in very fine condition.
