English sterling silver tea strainer and stand, hallmarks for Birmingham 1946.  The silversmith is E.J. Houlston of Caroline Street, Birmingham.

It is hard to find a silver tea strainer with the original stand to catch drips; practical and beautiful!

The strainer is 4 5/8” (11.7cm) across the handles.
