800 Fine Silver Card Case From Germany

Vintage 800 Fine Silver card case from Germany, circa 1920-30s.  Identified by the crescent moon and crown mark used by Germany post 1888 and 800 signifying 800 the fineness of the silver.  The cover is decorated with rose blooms and leaves, arranged symmetrically around a central blank oval suitable for monograms.  All four sides are also decorated with floral scrolling and the interior has the original gold wash.  The bottom is without ornamentation allowing for a larger presentation engraving in the future.  The case is large enough for a standard size business card.
