Edwardian sterling silver bank/business card / cigarette case, Birmingham 1910.  The ribbon that held cigarettes in place has been removed and the case is the perfect size for a standard business card.

The case is beautifully enamelled on the raised floral border.  The case has further engraved floral and foliate engraving both front and back.  

Trademarked EJH, an early example of the work the of E. J. Houlston of Caroline Street, Birmingham, England, in business 1903-63.

The original presentation monogram is engraved in a shield shaped cartouche, “AVK” in Script.
