Vintage Pygmalion Sonata compact, made in England, circa 1950s.  This whimsical gilt metal compact is in the form of a baby grand piano with folding legs.  Trademarked “Pygmalion Made in England” on the inside compact cover and “Sonata” on the puff.

2 3/4” (7cm) by 2 3/8” (6cm), 5/8” (1.6cm) thick with the legs folded, 1 3/8” (3.5cm) thick with the legs down.
