English George V era sterling silver pedestal bowl, hallmarked London 1932, makers mark HO.  The substantially sized bowl is elaborately chased and engraved with flowers, foliage and scrolls in the Rococo style, framing two empty cartouches suitable for a monogram or presentation engraving.  The bowl is raised on a simple pedestal foot.  It is large and sturdy enough to use as a champagne cooler.
