* The Watson Company of New York produced silver hollowware for Wilcox & Wagoner of New York, starting circa 1900.  Wilcox & Wagoner closed circa 1905 and Watson continued producing silver with the sword and laurel wreath mark until 1929.

** S.H. Camp & Co. was established in 1907 by Samuel Higby Camp (1871-1944) as a corset manufacturer in Jackson, Michigan.  As corsets fell out of favour the company adapted its business to producing therapeutic and prosthetic support garments and devices.

In 1932 S.H. Camp & Co. created the first sizing scale for bra cups; the letters being A, B, C and D, the same scale that is used for sizing today.

The company was acquired by TruLife Company in 1997.
