Victorian silver plate goblet / trophy, made by Mappin & Webb of London and Sheffield, England, circa 1880.  The pedestal base features a stylized dolphin, wrapped around three bull rushes that support the simple bowl.  The goblet is without monograms or presentation engravings and would be an excellent choice for an aquatic sport; rowing, sailing, swimming, etc.

The interior base of the goblet has very minor wear to the plating; wear consistent with age and use.

 7 1/2” (19cm) high, 3 1/4” (8.3cm) diameter at the rim.
