Miyamoto-Shoku Sterling Silver Trophy Dated 1960

Vintage sterling silver trophy cup, made in Japan and dated 1960.  Made by Miyamoto-Shoku of Ginza, Tokyo, Japan.  Miyamoto-Shoku was established in 1880 by Masaru Miyamoto as a salesman of silver cigarette cases and started the production of his own silver wares in 1890.  The company was granted a Royal Warrant to the Japanese Imperial family, becoming the Imperial Household Purveyor in 1899.  

The company still exists today.

The trophy is sterling silver and mounted on a dark stained wood pedestal base.
