Victorian Sterling Silver Shooting Trophy Cup, London 1866

Product Details

Victorian sterling silver shooting trophy cup, hallmarked London 1866.  Made by the silversmith George Fisher whose works dates circa 1866-78.  The clever design for marksmanship incorporates three crossed rifles, joined by a wreath to support the cup.

The presentation engraving states:

VIth. CORPS, N.R.V.

Corp. Robert Tuddenham,

the Winner of the 

 CHALLENGE CUP,

1865.

Presented by

8 1/4” (21cm) high, 3 1/8” (8cm) diameter at the rim.
